I was unlawfully arrested, and so aggressively, without finding out the facts as Officer Smyth looked so anxious to arrest me and he surely did it, sloppily as if he was on drugs or just being psychologically screwed up. I believe Officer Smyth should be investigated for drug use on the job. No sane person would have behaved in the manner as he did. Anyone could view his words and actions by his and Sergeant Mace's body cams to come to the same obvious conclusion. And so it's either drugs or a serious psychological problem that was expressed in his unprofessional manner and unlawful arrest. In any event, the Grants Pass Police Department so easily went along with a false report made by Joshua Machen of the Harbor Freight store in Grants Pass Police case 2023-00003746 to have me not only ARRESTED, but also PUT IN JAIL! Officer Smyth, in creating a huge fictional story in his garbage of a police report should have gotten him arrested right away. Additionally, with Sergeant Mace needlessly slamming me against a patrol car and needlessly shoving me in the back seat of a patrol car nearly toppling me over, he should have also been arrested. So we have three wrongdoers all committing crimes, warranting arrest and put in jail. None of them are going to experience just treatment because Chief Hensman refuses to respect the law. The law seems to be against those whom are not store owners or employees of stores, or law enforcement officers as these get coddled because of revenue funding police salaries and of protecting their own. Anyone else can be arrested and charges made up, lies permitted in police excessive force used and excessive punishment dealt out, particularly to anyone they do not like such as me with my big untrimmed beard. I did no crime by telling an irate store employee that he shouldn't yell the F word at me. To make the highly justified arrests of these three persons would show that the Grants Pass Police Department fouled up in a major way but in being fair, this has to be done. It is surprising that one who got to be in a high level of a police department is so much against enforcing the law when it comes to those he wants to protect. Justice must prevail and these three persons I insist must face consequences for their unlawful actions! Society cannot be held together when the Chief of Police dictates disproportional law enforcement to some as this would be discrimination and possibly corruption as in this case. Warren Hensman refuses for over a year to respond to my official complaint made on Aug 11, 2023. I was informed in December 2023 that their "internal investigation" was completed and have tried for many months to obtain the result, having called the station and been given the run-around including that they don't know anything about it and transferred to high level officers voice mail whereupon I left messages for them and never was there a courtesy of responding back to me. Lt. Hattersley plays games with me just like the head of the Josephine County Jail, Lt. Edward Vincent. The corruption is immense - the law enforcement departments involved in maliciously arresting and putting me in jail where I'd receive cruel and unusual punishment for reporting Sheriff Dave Daniel on corruption requires FBI involvement. All my pleas to the Oregon State government, not to mention repeated pleas to the Josephine County commissioners, Grants Pass City Mayor and city councilpersons to address the situation are ignored.
