The disparity of what was done to me because I am a white, disabled senior citizen and a property owner who legally posted his property NO TRESPASSING as in accordance with state laws and who had called because of a repeated trespassing, and the person refused to leave after being told to do so by me the landowner. I was treated with bias, malice and threatned by this deputy. Everything is on his body camera. I have attached a detailed account of what happened and the charges i faced in court. The legal fees I had to pay, then all charges dropped against me in a court of law. I filed a formal complaint with the Union County Sheriffs office, Chief Deputy Tony Underwood. I received a phone call on my cell phone on August 17, 2024 from a LT. Jason Rumley with the Union County Sheriffs office. He gave me his phone number as (704-320-6211). He stated, CONCERNING MY COMPLAINT, (SITUATION HAS BEEN HANDLED). I requested in writing a formal response to my complaint. He stated that he would have to consult the county attorney. To date, i have not received any formal response in writing as I requested.
