Officer Barnes has pulled me over every time I go to Vicksburg to visit family almost every time I go there. I'm from there and my family lives there. He once pulled into the gas station where I was pumping gas , not even in my car, demanding I give him my ID. There were several more times he pulled me over for no reason at all. The night he arrested me though, was different I was driving down clay street going towards my mother's house on 1st north street . He was driving behind me, my shoes were wet and slipped off the accelerator, so just natural reaction my hand kind of jerked the wheel but I recovered quickly, Noone was beside me, he and I were the only ones on the road that night. When I got to the 4 way I was turning (my moms road) I got in the turn lane blinker on. He blue lighted me so I immediately pulled over. I stopped turned the car off and while trying to put my window down explaining why I swerved, he starts screaming at me pulls his weapon screaming at me to get out of the car. It was summer time so I had on shorts, not even waiting for a female officer to arrive he puts me against my car and "pats me down" more like he felt me up where there were no clothes. He puts me in the back of a patrol car handcuffed without reading my rights first. Searches my car without me knowing my rights goes in my car and purse and says he found a lot of methods, paraphernalia. Takes me to jail were I stay all weekend. Now 5 years later I'm being indicted for this.
