Landlord was attempting to ILLEGALLY EVICTT TENANT at 75 South 100 West, #7, Ferron, Utah 84523, On Monday November 04-2024 around 4:30 PM, Tenants left their Dwelling to go to the hospital to have and delivered a healthy Baby Boy. On or about 11-07-2024 at approximately 3:00 AM, Landlord Broke into Tenants Dwelling by, "Cutting off the back door knob," Defendants confession to Law Enforcement. On or about 11-08-2024 Tenants returned to their Dwelling to retrieve items needed for the care of their new born son, and found that they had been locked out. Law Enforcement was Contacted and Chief Investigator Roper who was passing by the dwelling at the time was flagged down by the victim and was informed of what had happened, the Deputy dispatched to the Scene Deputy Price took the complaint and told the Victims, and myself as a witness that he would get charges filed. Tenants were told that if they could convince the Landlord to let them back in OR IF they could get let in legally, and they retook possession of the mobile home the Landlord could do nothing with out going to court and filing a LEGAL EVICTION. On or About 11-12-2024 Tenants came back to get more things for the baby, as they pulled up they found that the back door was wide open so they entered, CHANGED THE LOCKS, and retook possession of the Dwelling. The baby stayed with Grandma while mom and dad stayed back at the trailer, after a couple of days, they had his mom bring the baby home, and although nerves were high at what this Landlord might potentially do they stayed observant but attempted to get their live in order. Then on or about 11-19-2024 at approximately 2:30 AM the Landlord came and cut the ppower to the Dwelling. This happened to coincide with the first reports of that night being the first night to go below freezing. the Victims awakened at a little before 6:00 AM to the baby fussing, so Dad got out of bed to get him and then go get him a bottle. Victim said the trailer was freezing, so he went to turn up the heat, but the Thermostat would not work, so he went to turn on the lights to see what was wrong and that is when he noticed that the power had been disconnected by the Landlord. ECSO wa contacted and a Deputy came out took a report and told us that he was going to the office and file Criminal Charges for Child Endangerment, and the other laws that the Landlord had broken. Because there was no power and the Landlord refused to restore the Power the victims were forced to vacate - UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE POWER WAS RESTORED - when they planned to return. The Landlord attempted and three occasions to illegally remove the Tenants Belongings ECSO was notified each time and each time a report was made. The last occasion Sgt. O'Neil the Patrol Sgt. for the ECSO was the responding Deputy - and apparently he and the defendant are great friends, and the Sgt. contacted the Victims and told them they had until Sunday 12-01-204 to remove all of their belongings or the landlord would come and take the victim's belongings to the Land Fill and they would bare the costs of the crew that the Landlord brought, the Land Fill costs, as well as the fuel and other expenses. The Landlord showed him EITHER a forged Lease Agreement or an Expired Lease Agreement, OR a combination of both. Mike Olsen has refused to take and file theses charges and have this SLUM LORD ARRESTED, but is allowing him to reign terror on his tenants. So I would actually like to PREFER Criminal Charges against this Prosecutor as well as the Ethics complaint. Any evidence I would have I would have to pay for, I am a disabled Vet, that does not get enough to even have groceries at the end of the month. But you can get ALL OF THE POLICE REPORTS, NAMES OF OFFICERS TO PUT UNDER OATH. Believe me if I could I would send you copies of each and every one of these reports, statements made by the responding Deputies, and witness statements from Dozens of this Slumlords victims, that are terrified of going through the courts as they have had Deputies side with the slumlord EACH and EVERY TIME! I have attempted to pull records of Evictions that this man has filed and there are none, so EACH and EVERY on of these terrified Tenants that were "evicted" were not evicted through the courts, but through the slumlords buddies in the Sheriff's Department, and I am sure it is to get the tenants out and to safety quicker because they know that this Prosecutor will not file criminal charges against this creep.
