Statement
Chief James "Tim" Bryan pursued Joseph Sublett at high speeds off-duty, out of jurisdiction, in his personal vehicle. Chief Bryan called for an "officer in distress" triggering KHP helicopters, KHP officers, Wichita Police Department, and Maize Police Department to respond. Joseph Sublett had 3 stress-induced seizures in the street due to Chief Bryan's misconduct. While Mr. Sublett was seizing, Chief Bryan illegally entered Mr. Sublett's home and removed evidence, then transported it to his personal vehicle. He then stated Mr. Sublett was "unattested," however, Chief Bryan followed Mr. Sublett's ambulance to the hospital, presenting him with a DC27. Mr. Sublett lost his driver's license although no ticket was issued, no court date was set, and the District Attorney declined to prosecute.
