Description: While assigned to the booking area at Passaic County Jail, CPO Morel was advised of a complaint of pain while booking an inmate. CPO morel failed to take proper steps to assist and document the complaint and later was untruthful about being advised of this complaint during his interview with Internal Affairs. Correctional Police Officer Morel resigned from the department effective July 2023.
