Description: On December 20, 2023, Sergeant Cadigan plead guilty to charges of theft by deception (second degree), theft by unlawful taking (third degree) and falsifying records (third degree). The charges were a result of thefts from the local PBA chapter and Wall American Youth Football, that Sergeant Cadigan was a member of. The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office conducted the criminal investigation that began in November 2022. As a result of his guilty plea, Sergeant Cadigan was
terminated from employment with the Police Department.
