Description: In January of 2023, Investigator McCormick, while on‐duty, typed several letters on official Gloucester County Sheriff's Office letterhead soliciting donations for his own personal use. Investigator McCormick signed the letter in his official capacity as an Investigator with the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office and provided the letter to several local businesses. Investigator McCormick did not have permission from Sheriff Sammons to solicit the donations or to use the department letterhead for personal business.
