Complaint No. 1785862973 - 234857840

Andres "Andy" Rodriguez

Date of Offense

August 4, 2026

Statement

Officer Rodriguez’s behavior crossed the line into harassment, intimidation, or improper use of authority.
Officer Rodriguez has been formally complained against before August 4, 2026. On July 27, 2026, while my fiancé, Christopher Dennis, was in court, Officer Rodriguez made sexual advances by blowing kisses at him. This incident was documented and immediately reported to the international affairs department of the Accomack County Sheriff’s Department.

On August 4, 2026, Officer Rodriguez, along with three other officers, arrived at my residence to serve us a notice to quit and a trespass. All officers except for Officer Tingle refused to identify themselves. Despite reminding them that they were under investigation and that it’s standard practice for them to identify themselves, they continued to refuse. We also reminded Officer Rodriguez that we had formally filed a complaint against him, to which he responded with a dismissive remark, “It was cool.”

As Officer Rodriguez was about to leave, he placed his hand near his groin area in full view of us while looking at us. Officers like Officer Rodriguez make me feel uneasy and fearful for my public safety.
